Gallery forest, predominantly Mora, Eperua, Rubiaceae,
Myrtaceae, Chrysobalanaceae; white sand mix. Tree to 8m.
Fruiting specimens common. Inflorescence axillary and terminal
spikes. Bracteoles light green. Calyx light green and pinkish, single
petals white. Stamens 3, exserted, red; style red.
