N-facing pastured slope with young stand of trees, Ulmus
rubra, U. americana, Acer negundo, Dicentra cucullaria,
Arisaema canadense, Arisaema triphyllum, Zanthoxylum
americanum, Viola sororia, V. pubescens.
Rich black soft soil. Bulblets white or pink. Flowers white
or pale pink. Fruit green, reflexed.
