Cortlandt, On Old Croton Aqueduct that intersects with Quaker Ridge Rd about 0.6 km south of intersection with Quaker Bridge Rd E. 41.20683800, -73.86995200 (±12 m), ca 60 m elev. On edge of gravel/dirt trail and paved road under canopy dominated by mixed hardwoods including Liriodendron tulipfera and Quercus rubra. Mid-successional species include Betula lenta and Fagus grandifolia. Understory mixed, including Hamamelis virginiana, Pachysandra sp., and Toxicodendron radicans. On top of slope facing west. Recent invasive species removals included Ampelopsis glandulosa and Rosa multiflora. About 5m tall with dbh of 5 cm. Fruits pale green to white, several mature fruits with brown seed exposed.
