United States of America. California. Kern Co. Near Mojave; at the foot of the mountain about three miles southwest of Mojave.

Habitat
Growing in gravel. Abundant in the desert, at least near the Mojave, and on the dry plains about Bakersfield.

Description
Prostrate, only the middle stems ascending, al rather stout for the size of the plant, decidedly pubescent, as are also the pedicels. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
