Osmorhiza longistylis (Torr.) DC.
NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in Paumonek
Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School, ca. 7 m south of Jericho
Turnpike, up-slope from the stream. Flowers white, in clusters; stems
and petiols soft and fuzzy. Growing as a small patch in an Acer
rubrum dominated area of an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with
Toxicodendron radicans, Lindera benzoin, Geranium maculatum and
Prunus serotino.
