Rubiaceae Galium hallii Munz & I.M. Johnston [functionally pistillate plant] BIG ROCK CREEK CANYON: ca 120 m NNW of Icy Springs, around a stone building that has been gutted by fire (the Webber Cabin); Valyermo 7.5' USGS topo sheet; T3N R9W, NW/4 NW/4 NE/4 section 1; elevation ca. 5680 feet. Vegetation dominated by woodland of Pinus jeffreyi, Pseudotsuga macrocarpa, Quercus chrysolepis, and scattered Calocedrus decurrens, Abies concobr, and Acer macrophyllum. Understoiy shrubs including Rhamnus californica, Ceanothus integerrimus, Fremontodendron californicum, Cercocarpus betuloides, Prunus virginiana, Ribes roezlii, and R. nevadense.
