Louisiana State University Herbarium [LSU] Plants of Louisiana SCROPHULARIACEAE Agalinis purpurea (L.) Pennell Winn Parish: Keiffer Prairie complex, Winn District, Kisatchie National Forest. Prairie pocket within pine forest located NE of the intersection of Range Road and Carpenter Road. A horse trail about 0.1 miles east of the intersection of Range and Carpenter Roads leads north from the Range Road through the surrounding forest and then it bisects the prairie pocket. 31°55.672’N, 92°49.491 ’W. Plant found in forested area. Flowers with magenta lobes and lighter pink tube with dark purple spots and 2 yellow nectar guides adaxially. Diane M. Ferguson & Lowell E.
