6290 ft, N aspect, deep sandy, well drained soil.
Found with Pseudotsuga menziesii, Acer glabrum,
Amelanchier alnifolia, Pinus ponderosa, Potentilla
sp? Found at mouth of hillside stream, under Acer
glabrum, large tap root and blue flowers.
