Upper San Pedro River floodplain "St. David" site approximately 2 miles
south of Rocha Road near irrigation ditch, 100 m east of San Pedro, 31°
48.84' , 110° 12.806' 3500 ft. 1067 m.
Habitat: Riparian- mixed woodland mesquite, tamarisk, Celtis, walnut.
Associated spp: Prosopis velutina, Celtis reticulata, Baccharis emoryi, B.
salicifolia, B. sarothroides, Chloracantha spinosa, Juglans major, Tamarix
ramosissima, Atriplex canescens.
Notes: Perennial herb 1.6 m tall. Ray and disk flowers golden-yellow.
Abundant.
