GUYANA. Kaieteur National Park. On path toward falls. 457 m
5°9'59.1 "N 59°29'0.1"W. Riparian forest over white sand and with black
water. Dicymbe and Dimorphandra dominant. Small colony in thin soil
over rock outcrop. Annual to ca 20 cm. Flowers few, with light pink
petals; not open in afternoon. Entire plant reddish (anthocyanin tinted).
