BOTANICAL
Secondary forest of Populus cf. candicans, P. tremuloides
along old railroad grade, now converted to a trail, “Tri-
County Corridor”
Shrub 4 m. tall, with several stems in a tight clump, 4 cm. in
diameter. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Sterile
peripheral flowers white; a very few dull reddish “raisins”
from last years fruit.
