T 39 N; R 1 E; SW1/* sect. 14.
Secondary forest of Populus tremuloides, Abies balsamea,
with small zone of Alnus incana ssp. rugosa marsh along
stream.
Shrub 3 m. tall, 3 cm. in diameter. Voucher for wood
specimen, MADw. Sterile out flowers in the inflorescence
conspicuous, white; the fertile flowers not yet open.
