Range. Fertile moist loam.
Mesic to wet subtropical rainforest [moist to wet
sclerophyll forest with rainforest understory]
apparently dominated by Eucalyptus acmenoides,
Eucalyptus grandis, and E. biturbinata. Fruits red,
fleshy, in pendulous panicle about 2 feet long, leaves
clustered at ends of otherwise bare stems, 2 meter tall;
open understory areas.
