Disturbed woods with Celtis occidentalis, Phellodendron amurense between the Snuff Mill and the bridge over the Bronx River downstream from it.

Description
Slender shrub 3m tall. Flowers white. Uncertain if planted or escaped. Plant turning black in the press; no other plants similarly changing color in this press. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
