Ca. 74 m north of the Long Island Railroad track. 40°50,21.84"N, 73°26'8.28"W; 57 m elevation. Young tree to 3 m, ca. 2.5 cm caliber. Bark white to buff-brown. Branches and twigs not weeping. Frequent. Growing in a brushy 21 year old old-field with older Betula pendula, Taraxacum officinale, Juniperus virginiana, Aster, Lonicera japónica and Prunus serótina. Matthew C.
