    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Difficult to discern the boundary between the locations of Russinhas and Rucinha (villages) on Google Maps due to blurry satellite imagery. Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of Russinhas located in Mun. Gravatá, Pernambuco, Brazil. Used Google Maps- What's Here Tool to find coordinates of the approximate geographic center of Russinhas. Because there are no clearly defined spatial boundaries for Russinhas, used Google Maps- Measure Distance Tool to find linear extent by measuring from selected coordinates to the approximate geographic center of the nearest named place, Pombos (-8.142887, -35.398296), then halved the distance (3300 km). Input coordinate source (locality description), datum (WGS84), coordinate precision (0.00001 degrees), extent of named place (2860 m), and measurement error (10 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find uncertainty radius.
