Canada. Northwest Territories. At south shore of Kakisa Lake.

Habitat
In burned over area atop limestone escarpment. Small Jack pine, Populus tremuloides, and white spruce coming in. Common shrubs: Shepherdia, Rosa, Viburnum, Arctostaphylos uva-ursi. Herbs: Galium septentrionale, Zygadenus, Arnica, Fragaria. Much bare rock, or rock covered with shallow residual soil.
