Park-like floodplain forest, understory mostly mowed, with Acer saccharum, Bromus inermis, Celtis occidentalis, Fraxinus quadrangulata, Poa pratensis, Quercus macrocarpa, Trifolium pratense, Ulmus americana, Ulmus rubra, Verbesina altemifolia. Occasional tree about 10 m tall. Buds golden-yellow; fruit immature.
