I and perhaps a dozen more Botanists gathered at Terra Haute for Botany foray into Southern Indiana, Sept. 2,3,4, 1939. Chas» C.Deam guided the party to the Piase farm to see this hybrid oak which he had previously visited. It is a nicely shaped tree.
