    Stems solitary or cepitose, 80 cm tall, 2 cm diam. Leaves 10; sheath 15 cm with few black spines; petiole 60-65 cm long with few black spines; rachis 40-58 cm long; pinnae light green, 9-11 per side, clustered and spreading in slightly differe.
