Description
Tree 10 m tall, the trunk ca 25 cm diam; trunk bark (not fully mature), the ridges flat, grey, the furrows ascending, ca 20 cm long, rough, black at the edges, the depths orangish; young bark grey, ± smooth with blackish cracks; principal branches 2, erect; twigs many, slender and distichous, silvery grey, smooth; flower bud scales reddish brown; filaments white, the anthers blackish/purple. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
