Flat, sandy area surrounded by pastures, with appearance of former savanna. Only a few plants seen. Bare sand along road.

Description
Fleshy, with aspect of Physalis viscosa. Flowers nodding; corolla white; anthers yellow. Fruit held downwards, green, the fruiting calyx also green.
