Dear Ellen:
I meant to send you my file of annotations on the NY Xylaria specimens. Somehow I forgot. The file is attached to this
message.
The upper packet of X. agariciformis on that particular sheet is empty, containing no fungal material at all.J foundI two_
stromata in the lower packet only, which was purchased from hertr Massey It is P°s*'“®
be enclosed in the upper packet but somehow was wrapped together with the one in the tower packet somiy 8 '
Julian Miller marked in pencil on both packets "photo made 1937" but had the two stromata Prese^d ^ ^
photo. In any case, both stromata belong to the same fungus and was received from Massee, having them In the same o
separate packets should not affect the taxonomy too much.
Best wishes,
Yp-MJng
