  Bark of Populus deltoides based on S. A. Mori et al. 28075 from the Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve, Westchester Co., New York. Fallen tree trunk. The bark is reticulately fissured and the top of the ridges are flat and smooth especially higher up the tree trunk. Image taken at base of tree..
