Description
Genus Description - Lianas, the stems smooth to fluted. Leaves ovate to elliptic, pubescent to glabrescent. Flowers in axillary or thyrsiform inflorescences. Sepals subequal, ovate to subrotund, usually pubescent. Corollas subrotate to funnelform, lobed half the length or almost to base. Stamens included or exserted. Ovary 2-locular, 4-ovulate; styles entire, divided into 2 short branches or completely divided; stigmas oblong to globose. Fruits nut-like, indehiscent. Seeds usually less than 4, glabrous.
