Some collections are not true lichens but lichenicolous fungi. This checklist is based on collections made for this project on a single collecting trip so the inventory is far from being complete. Nevertheless, most of the conspicuous species have been documented. Specimens documenting the species are archived in the Steere Herbarium of The New York Botanical Garden.
