This module hosts images of live plants, habitats, and high-resolution specimen images from the Herbarium of the New York Botanical Garden. Our goal is to further populate the module with images of type specimens of all published names in Swartzia, including those housed in other herbaria, as well as images of living individuals, laboratory preparations, illustrations, and representative herbarium specimens of all species and varieties of the genus.
Use the field below to search for images based on keywords or combinations of key words, including Latin name, political geographic division, morphological feature, etc. For example, a search of “Swartzia leptopetalaflower Brazil” will bring up only images of flowering S. leptopletala in Brazil.
