For many years our trips to French Guiana have been facilitated by Joep Moonen, his wife Marijke, and his son Bernie. Joep usually picks us up at the airport and then we stay at their Emerald Jungle Village our first night in French Guiana. On the next day, Joep takes us back to the airport to catch a flight to our first collecting locality or drives us directly to the destination.
