Description:
Type: Venezuela. Mérida: High elevations near Mérida, Moritz 1348 (lectotype: GH, photo NY neg. 9053; isolectotypes: BM, BR, CGE, frag. F, HBG, K-2 sheets, L, W, photo NY neg. 9139). The holotype deposited at B was destroyed, but is represented in photo (ACS neg. 16).
