Costa Rica. Cartago. On property of ICE hydroelectric plant about 15-20 km beyond suspension bridge over Río Grande de Orosí. Alt. 1300 - 1800 m. (4265 - 5905 ft.)

Description:

Epiphytic shrub with winged branches to 1 m. Calyx green, suffused with maroon when immature, broadly winged alternate with calyx lobes. Corolla light pink, lobes white, winged opposite the lobes. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
