Description:

Pileus 3.5-5 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, pink, finely matted subtomentose, with even margin that slightly projects a sterile flap. Flesh white to pale yellow, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. tubes adnexed, greenish yellow, unchanging with pores concolorous and unchanging. Stipe 7-9.5 cm long, 10-15 mm broad, equal, somewhat curved, dry, bright yellow at apex, dull yellow below, white at base, developing more dull red below with age, subfloccose at apex, fibrillose striate below, with low ridges at first, becoming more pronounced with age and then finely red subscabrous, with interior pale yellow at first, with dull pinkish tones in mid-portion with age. Dry sclerophyll. Eucalyptus, Allocasuarina, Leptospermum. Subcespitose. On sand.
