Description:

Pileus 3.5-5 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, (12F6) at first becoming (9-10-11E-F5), subvelutinous to matted tomentose, with even margin. Flesh white, unchanging, up to 1 cm thick, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed to depressed around stipe, white at first, becoming pinkish with age, up 8 mm deep; pores white at first, becoming pinkish with age, <1 mm broad, staining pale pinkish brown when bruised. Stipe 4-9 cm long, 8-15 mm broad, subequal to clavate, dry, subpruinose, pallid at apex (±concolorous with tubes), (6E7-6) below, white at the base.
