Description:
Pileus 4.5-6 cm broad, covered with sand, but some aggregated tufts on disc, and cinnamon brown. Tubes vinaceous pink, unchanging. Stipe 8-12 cm long, 1 cm broad, equal but tapered at base, mostly white, with some cinnamon brown alveolate-reticulate ornamentation from mid-portion to base. Spores with smooth plage, otherwise with short, flat, meandering ridges.
