Description:

Possibly intermediate between round and favoloid-pored morphs. Pileus 37 mm, orange; context white; taste faintly bitter. Pores (0.5-) 1-2 (-3) mm in diameter, cream colored, staining brown; roundish with angular mouth or, near stipe apex, elongated-subfavoloid; 2-layered. Stipe 5 x 17 mm, solid, bent, minutely pruinose, hairs orange-brown to rusty brown; surface bright yellow at apex, orange-brown below; basal mycelium white. NH4OH reaction bright yellow on pileus and stipe.
