Description:

Pileus 2-5 cm broad, dry, convex to plano-convex, bright orange to reddish orange (7A-B8,7). Hymenophore favoloid, staining light brown, with multiple pore layers. Stipes frequently branched, tapering to base, usually with orange at apex. Spores oblong-elliptical to nearly subfusoid, slightly subreniform in profile. Hymenial cystidia (pseudocystidia) present.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus, Syncarpia, Lophostemon. Gregarious to cespitose. On sand.
