Description:

Pileus 3-3.5 cm broad, plano-convex to plane, dry, matted tomentose, to appressed squamose, maize yellow (4B6,5), staining blue green immediately when bruised. Flesh white immediately intense blue, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, whitish with a hint of yellow, barely cyanescent, with pores immediately cyanescent. Stipe 3-5 cm long, 7-8 mm broad, subclavate, dry, finely matted subtomentose to matted tomentose, pale yellow, cyanescent, with faint velar ridge below mid-portion, with interior white, rapidly cyanescent, pithy becoming chambered and hollow.
Habitat:

Wet sclerophyll. Eucalyptus, Syncarpia, Lophostemon. Gregarious. On sand.
