Description:

See 8799. Pileus 4.5-5 cm broad, plane, dry, matted tomentose, irregularly uneven, tan (5B-C5-4). Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, whitish, unchanging, with pores small, isodiametric and unchanging. Stipe 7 cm long, 12 mm broad, curved and equal to slightly tapered at base, dry, puberulent below, finely matted subtomentose above, orange gray (5B3), with interior pithy, white, unchanging, soon hollow, white at base.
Habitat:

Mixed forest. Castanopsis. Solitary. On soil.
