Description:

Red matted cap, areolate at margin with yellow flesh showing through, 3.5 cm broad, plano-convex, dry. Flesh yellow, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, greenish yellow, unchanging. Stipe 9 cm x 9 mm, curved, finely red scabrous at apex on yellow ground, rhubarb red below and white at base, with interior yellow at apex, white toward base, solid, unchanging.
Habitat:

Myrtaceae wet sclerophyll. Eucalyptus, Syncarpia, Lophostemon. Solitary. In sand.
