Description:

Pileus 5.5-10 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, very tacky to subviscid especially with age, suede-like at first, white at margin, pale yellow with some pinkish overtones, with appendiculate veil remnants at margin. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and bitter taste. Tube adnexed to deeply adnexed, grayish rose to porphyry pink, bruising brownish. Stipe 7.5-14 cm long, 1-1.5 cm broad, strict or curved, equal to subclavate, moist and very sticky, lacunose-reticulate to alveolate, white and developing yellowish to orangish yellow stains in situ, with white basal mycelium.
