Description:

Pileus 4-6 cm broad, convex to plane, dry, subtomentose and entire, soon areolate, dull and pale olive at first, soon brownish red. Flesh yellowish white to pale yellow, slowly bluing when exposed, with mild odor and taste. Hymenophore tubulose; tubes 6 mm long, yellow to greenish yellow, bluing when exposed; pores light yellow to grayish yellow (3A4-3B5), rarely developing some red with age, bluing when bruised. Stipe 6-9 cm long, 6-10 mm broad, ±equal, dry, subpruinose and sometimes ridged, lemon yellow at apex, rhubarb red below, yellow at base, with interior solid, withish to pale pinkish to brownish.
Habitat:

Submontae forest. Quercus corrugata. Gregarious. On soil.
