  • Notes

    Herbarium C is the national herbarium of Denmark and part of Natural History Museum Denmark, University of Copenhagen. Collections encompass vascular plants, bryophytes, algae, fungi, lichens and biocultural collections. Recent additions to C-collections are the entirety of Herbarium CP (vascular plants of general and Danish herbarium, dry and alcohol collections), Herbarium DISKO (arctic vascular plants), Herbarium AAU (algae, fungi, lichen) and the Pharmacognostic Collection (biocultural collections). Dry C-collection are presently housed in temporary storage facility outside Copenhagen. Wet C-collection are housed in the former Zoological Museum in Copenhagen. The former Botanical Central Library and Archives is part of the archives of Natural History Museum Denmark. Please address all enquires and requests to curator@snm.ku.dk
