Taxonomic Coverage: Plant vascular (angiosperm, gimnosperm), pteridófitos., lichens, bryophytas.

Quarantine Requirements

The number of staff admitted to the San Cristóbal de Huamanga Herbarium is up to 5 people; since it is an enclosed space, use of masks is requested, The work area is kept under constant disinfection.

Entered Oct 2022. The Herbarium San Cristobal de Huamanga (HSCH) is the only Herbarium in the region of Ayacucho - Peru, therefore is an institution of importance for the area, it houses information on native, wild and endemic vegetation, which contributes to the knowledge of the local flora to promote the preservation of natural ecosystems that harbor great biodiversity.
